Tis the Season!

Merry (late) Christmas! A lot like many
of you, we too were running around like chickens with our heads cut off! The madness begun Christmas Eve by a nice brunch with my Nana, Papa, Uncle, Mom, Step Dad, and some siblings. We exchanged presents at a cute little diner in Salem and than were off to the next destination in Dayton, Nic's dads side of the family! The girls got movies, games, baby dolls and lots of other goodies!

After leaving Dayton we were off to Dundee to my grandparents house to end the festivities of that day! The girls again got SO many toys, clothes, books and candy! We headed out around 5 and were home and right in bed by 7!

Christmas morning started with Zoey J opening her stocking and than BACK into Dundee to get Lilly at 10! We went to my other grandparents house where the girls got a princess vanity, a princess car and matching heart lockets. They were so ecstatic of everything!

After a bit of visiting, we were homeward bound to open our gifts here. We got the Lilly a Tangled tower, a new tea set, a princess Aurora barbie complete with a princess aurora dress! Zoey J got a nerf gun, Thomas the train bath set, a tea set, and a magnadoodle!

Nicolas got me a pair of Romeo boots and a nice Columbia jacket and I got him a blazer shirt for his tickets to the game against the nuggets and tickets for the ducks against USC. :)

The day continued with a trip down the road to Nic's mom's house to have dinner, and man was it good! The girls proceeded to get even MORE presents! We stayed and visited with family for a bit than came home.

Due to a limited amount of time we'll be doing Christmas with my mom as well as my dad in January. But the girls don't know the difference. :)

We are all so grateful for what God has blessed us with and the incredible family we have. Thank you all for everything!

Hustle & Bustle!

Well with the commotion of Christmas and everyday life, I can confidently say that next year I will start much earlier!

Tomorrow we start the long car rides and truckloads of presents! I must say, next year we will be managing time better and only attend a few places, but we are so blessed to have amazing family!

This isn't an eventful blog, mainly just photos :) next blog will be after Christmas. :) love you all!

5 Days & Counting

That's right, day FIVE of our potty streak! Although shes only peed once on the potty during that time, she is staying strong with pooping, yay!

While she's on the potty, we encourage her to push to feel the urge to pee, here's a small amount of faces we may see during that process! And of course her darling little panties!

Uggs Attack!

Recently Nic purchased Zoey J a pair of brown, ugg boots and this kid will not part from them! She wears them from morning to night, and in the bath and bed if she could!

If we dare to remove them it's a sad day for Zoey J, so we just let her keep those piggies warm. :)

Side note: When Nic was a baby he had a pair of cowboy boots that he was the same way with, let's just says genetics can carry habits. :)

Rare. Zoey J With Hair!

You read it right! She has lots of hair!! It was an exciting day for this momma to put it in a little whale tail. :) there's a few more photos attached that are just funny, enjoy!

Brush Brush!

Sorry for the lack of blogging! But lately, the bundle of joy known as Zoey J has been LOVING to brush her teeth! With her blue toothbrush (told you she should of been a boy!) and her grape flavored, Nemo toothpaste, this kid always wants "teeth! Teeth!" which is how she directs us to brush for her. We brush once in the morning, after lunch and dinner and let her brush too!

Another exciting thing is that for not one,not two, and not three, but FOUR days straight she has told us she had to poop and she went!!! She gets to walk around the house in big girl panties too! At 21months, maybe this will be the only thing she does for us that's easy! :) but we still love her of course!

To Grandmothers House We Go!

Every other Wednesday we get Lillian from 430-730, we pick her up from her moms in Dundee and generally take her to dinner. Since its only a 3 hour visit, we stay around town to get the most time with her. Majority of the time we go out to dinner and than off to Nics parents house in Newberg, just like we are tonight!

Currently the girls are amused with Coraline and plopped down right in front, and sometimes with uncle Joshy! :) pretty adorable!

Also a photo of Zoey J kissing hank, the great Dane/st.bernard mix, that could very well be a horse. :)

She Did What?!

Ladies and gents, Zoey J pooped on the big girl potty!!! To most poop isn't that exciting, but here, at age 21 months, this is a small step towards a big thing! Not only did she go potty, but told me she had to go!

To celebrate such an exciting thing, Zoey J got not one, not two, but THREE m&ms!

For your own discretion I won't post photos, but I'm so proud of my beautiful girl!

Freak Out

This is only a short blog, mainly just to share some hilarious photos...starting yesterday, Zoey J has learned to "freak out" when you tell her to freak out, this is what you can expect to see:

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

As some of you may have found out, IT'S FREEZING OUTSIDE!!! My teeth chatter when I step foot outside, and my snot freezes to my face. :) ok, maybe not that bad, but it's sure chilly! I just thought I'd share a few photos of my precious babies all bundled up and ready to go. The process of doing this is generally 10-12 minutes each child, depending on the time of day and recent nap ratio, but to keep them warm and see them waddle around in puffy coats is pretty darn cute! Enjoy. :)
