Well i'm trying round two with this blog thing, so bare with me. :) I was going to take off from my last blog, but it had been so long I forgot the email and password, oops!
As most of you know, Nic and I have our two beautiful girls, Lilly and Zoey J. Lillian is a month shy of 3 1/2 and Zoey J is fresh into the 21 month club. I can't begin to explain how blessed we feel with these two little monsters, but I'll begin the stories, cause those are amazing too.
Currently, we are FINALLY done with court and have Lillian every/other weekend and specified holidays, amen! It's been such a struggle, but gosh is it a relief to have that behind us. There are still a few kinks being worked out here and there, but for the most part we are on track and going full force to better our family!
Now about the babes (The best part!)
Lilly is so smart, just as she's always been, but her vocabulary and hand gestures anymore are just hilarious! She's not a toddler anymore, but a kid, I don't know where the time went. She is all about Disney Princesses right now, mainly Princess Aurora and her spindle. She's also into crafts and baking now, which makes it fun for me to have a little helper! She is fully potty trained and so good about telling us when she has to go. ( Lets just hope that Zoey J does this good!) After having Lilly more time it's amazing how well we've grown with her and her relationship with Zoey J is, I can't explain how big of an impact a few more hours a week can have on our family, but i'm sure thankful for it, that's for certian.
Little Zoey J, the busy bee! She is a handful, still, but she brings so much light into our lives. Right now she's very into tools and building! (I swear she should of been born a boy!) She is still in her Toy Story obsession and loves anything Buzz, Jesse and Bullseye! She's been having a tough time lately due to a major growth spurt, so a lot more eating and sleeping. (but you don't hear me complaining about those extra naps!) Just like Lilly, Zoey's vocabulary is incredible also. Like the title of the blog, she likes to enter a room and say, "Hello earbuddy!" (hello everybody) as well as goodbye. She is doing so well with her manners and i'm so proud with her use of please, thank you, bless you, sorry and the start of excuse me, as well as covering her cough.
Another big thing in our lives, is we've recently made a big move out to Gresham! We decided to live with my dad and step mom temporarily in their "castle" (What Lilly calls it since it's so huge!) until we can save up enough money to buy a house of our own out here. It's been such a blessing to be able to get established and the help of family along the way. With moving, it's been hard being away from our other family out in the Newberg area. Especially since Zoey J's BFF Paisley is all the way out in Dayton now! So it's been an adjustment for all of us, but it'll pay off!
For Nic and I, we've been happy as clams (if they're actually happy...) and just working towards our goals. Tomorrow I have an appointment to take a placement test at Mt.Hood Community College to become a parallegal, so that's very exciting. Nic is working towards getting a few more licenses for work and expanding his career to be a Landscape Architect. Maybe once we get enough money he'll put that ring on my pretty little finger like i've been wanting! :)
Well, that's the tabs on the family for now, until next time!
